In the created strategy of CB POB Cybersecurity and Data Science, the main emphasis was placed on strengthening five areas: 

• Innovation – strengthening bold research ideas and related passions, while maintaining a model of research work similar to the startup model.
• Personal development of scientists.
• Internal cooperation at PW – creating teams, cooperation between teams, cooperation between POB research centres – but also external, in particular, international.
• Cooperation with the economic environment, i.e. industry and business.
• Interdisciplinarity, understood as activities at the edge of disciplines, e.g. mathematics and technical IT and telecommunications (ITiT), or in "new cross-sections", e.g. social sciences and ITiT – "psychoinformatics.”
